Then in the Creek

A late 19th century northern view of the John H. Russell firehouse, complete with fire bell cupola; a bell rung on celebrations, the Fourth of July and, of course, in the event of a Creek fire. One of the gentleman with a signature bowler hat is probably John Russell. Houses probably belonging to the Brainerd family are in the background.
